Anick brings visionary leadership and deep-rooted community knowledge to FSF. With a longstanding commitment to sustainable Black philanthropy, she leads the initiative with a clear focus on impact, equity, and building long-term food security solutions.



Since founding Support Black Charities (SBC) in 2018, Anick Silencieux has been the
visionary force behind this Canadian nonprofit, supporting and empowering Black-led,
Black-serving and Black-focused organizations globally, including charities, nonprofits,
NGOs, grassroots, and community-based organizations (CBOs).

Anick’s mission is to provide essential resources that support and empower Black-led
organizations to become sustainable and self-sufficient, fostering long-term generational
impact within the Black ecosystem. This work is carried out through the lens of Black
Philanthropy, with a focus on ensuring that these organizations can thrive and create
lasting change for the communities they serve.
She assists Black charities and nonprofits to act, think, and operate like businesses.
helping them become donor-ready and investor-ready. Under her leadership, SBC has
evolved from a vetted online directory connecting organizations to supporters into a
multifaceted platform offering essential services and programs that support
Organizational growth and sustainability.

As a thought leader in Black Philanthropy, Anick promotes collaboration between Black
individuals, businesses, charitable organizations, and allies, fostering mutually
beneficial relationships. Her deep passion and extensive experience make her a
powerful advocate for community-driven change.

Having honed her entrepreneurial skills through her work with SBC, she now finds joy in
sharing her insights and lived experiences at conferences and events, where she raises
awareness and introduces new audiences to the world of Black Philanthropy. She is
committed to empowering Black organizations by highlighting the impactful work being
done within Black communities and strengthening the ecosystem through visibility,
collaboration, and advocacy.
